Emailing Photos

| Step 1
Insert the disk from the camera into the computer. From "My
Computer", double click the "3½" Floppy (A:)" to
show the contents of the disk. On the disk you will find that the files
are named in sequential order as they appear on LCD display, so that you
will know exactly which file to email.

| Step 2
Right click on the file you want to email, choose "Rename". |

3
Rename the picture to reflect the Inmate / Offender’s Last Name
First Name DOC #. i.e.: "Doe John 569874.jpg" – don’t use
quotes, commas, # signs, periods, middle initials, or suffixes. Add an S at the end behind the DOC# to signify Side View. |

| The format is
[last name][space][first name][space][DOC number]. |

Step 4
From your email client, OUTLOOK in our case, open a new email message. Enter the email address
that you want to receive the picture.
94.photo@doc.state.ok.us is currently the email address for the computer that is
directly connected to the Main Frame in Oklahoma City for posting the
photos to the OMS system. |

Step 5
From within your new email message.
Choose "Insert" then choose "File…"
Change the "Look in:" box to "3 ½ Floppy
(A:)" |

Step 6
Double click on the file that you want to attach to
the email message.
(Note: on the right side, under the "Advanced…"
button, "Insert as" has "Attachment"
selected.) |

| Step 7
The email is now ready to send. Hit the "Send"
button.
(Note: You can add another file by repeating Steps
6-7. Only send about 4 at a time to prevent clogging up your email.) |
